A Stone's Throw
I've been doing positive affirmations as I get ready each morning. One that I say regularly is that I wake up with a song. Today the song I woke up with in my mind was A Stone's Throw by The National Parks (they've got to be my favorite band right now). As I was making lunch I felt like some happy energy could be helpful, I remembered the song and put it on. The kids were playing around the kitchen island as I heated up and distributed last night's leftovers. Mason was strapped in his high chair. Ethan was pushing Tanner (dressed up as Buzz Lightyear) around in a rocket (aka push n ride). I sang along with the chorus, Heaven oooo is a stone's throw away. I just looked at my children and knew they were the heaven God was telling me about right at that moment. It's so close, I just have to see it and cherish it and love it, them.
